The Thomson Elite seatpost is over 40% stronger than the strongest production seatposts on the market and has double the fatigue life of other production models. The tube and head are machined from a single piece of high-strength 7000 series Aluminium for superior strength and minimal weight. It features a long 1.614 inch (41mm) seat rail grip length to prevent seat rail bending from impact loads. The design incorporates a bending fuse to prevent catastrophic failure, allowing the seatpost to bend slightly under severe impact for a safer stop. All parts are captive for easy attachment without dis-assembly. It offers infinite tilt adjustment from minus 5 degrees to plus 29 degrees. The low-profile clamps ensure no seat interference. Certified to EN 14766 2006 MTB and DIN CERTCO: 2006 MTB. Weight: 228g (330mm length). Available in 330mm, 367mm and 410mm lengths, and all seatpost sizes.
