Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure peak performance, pair this rod with a high-speed retrieve big-pit reel. When setting up, ensure the spigot joint is pushed firmly together without forcing it, leaving a small gap for wear over time. Because of the sophisticated carbon layup, always avoid 'high-sticking' (pulling the rod at an angle greater than 90 degrees) when playing fish close to the net. After every session, wipe the blank and guides with a soft, damp cloth to remove grit or salt that can damage the finish. Always store the rod in a protective sleeve to prevent guide damage during transit.
