Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires standard plumbing tools, including an adjustable spanner and a pipe cutter.
- Ensure the 15mm copper pipe is cut square and free of debris.
- Slide the compression nut and olive onto the pipe.
- Insert the pipe into the wall flange elbow and tighten the nut securely.
- Apply PTFE tape (not included) to the tap threads before screwing the tap into the flange to guarantee a watertight connection.
- Mount the flange plate firmly to the wall using appropriate screws for your substrate.
For ongoing maintenance, periodically check the compression nut for tightness. If the tap becomes stiff, verify that no mineral buildup is present in the quick-connect mechanism. If you live in an area prone to freezing temperatures, remember to turn off the water supply and drain the tap to prevent pipe bursts.
