Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of the PP2033 is a straightforward "swap" process: open your vehicle’s factory airbox, remove the old paper filter, and drop the Pipercross element into place, ensuring a tight seal around the edges. No tuning or ECU mapping is required. To maintain the filter's performance, it should be inspected every 5,000 to 10,000 miles depending on driving conditions. When dirty, wash the filter using approved Pipercross cleaning solution, allow it to dry completely, and apply a light, even coat of performance air filter oil. Ensure the filter is correctly seated before closing the airbox housing to prevent unfiltered air from entering the engine.
