Single RJ45 CAT6a Shielded Wall Socket. This modular keystone socket is designed for networking purposes, supporting speeds of 10GBps over distances up to 100m/328ft. It features IDC termination points for easy installation without the need for a punch-down tool, and is compatible with TIA/EIA-568-B UTP wiring. The faceplate fits a standard single back box and includes fixing screws. The IDC connectors pierce the wire's insulation for a secure connection, and color-coding aids in wiring. For shielded cables, ensure the shield makes contact with the metal shell. The socket can be wired in straight-through or cross-over configurations.
