The mission was to create a compact, powerful, and easy-to-use delay pedal with unrivaled tone, flexibility, and style. Nemesis offers 26 distinct effect engines ranging from vintage tape and analog delays to highly advanced pitch-shifting, reverse, filter modulating, and rhythmic delays. It also features 128 presets, multiple delay taps, a hold function, tap tempo, full MIDI control, deep editing functionality with the Neuro Mobile App, and much more. Nemesis captures the full spectrum of delay effects, starting with a comprehensive collection of meticulously crafted tones. The Source Audio engineering team spent over a year studying numerous iconic and sought-after bucket brigade units with a staunch dedication to identifying their every nuance and idiosyncrasy. Nemesis's Tape, Noise Tape, and Slapback capture all the characteristic flutter, warmth, and color that give machines like the Echoplex and Space Echo their classic charm. The Analog engine beautifully achieves the resonant peaks combined with the high and low-frequency decay that typifies those pedals. The pedal's Digital manufactures pristine, definition repeats with or without filtering effects for a rack-system tone. At the opposite end of the spectrum, you'll find an array of sophisticated and specialized effects. The Shifter generates perfect polyphonic pitch intervals jumping in either octave (up or down), major or minor third, 4th, or 5th. The Sweeper applies a modulating, unique delay/wah hybrid tone. Backwards and Helix Reverse provide a blend of chaos and control with multi-tap reverse patterns and angelic shifting. A Rhythmic is an engaging and musical take on non-standard patterns. 24 Engines–Nemesis has 12 onboard accessible via the center selector, plus an additional 12 downloadable via the App. Select pristine digital delay, strikingly realistic analog, tape, slapback, as well as dynamic modulation, shifting, diffusion, and delays. Superior Processing–A 56-bit signal path and 24-bit line processing deliver exceptional power and uncompromising tone. 128 User Presets–Save up to 8 presets recallable via the pedal’s controls and 120 via program change (PC) messages. Stereo Input & Output jacks – Choose standard mono, stereo ping-pong, dual external loops, and many other alternate routes. Tap Tempo–Tap out the time with the Tap switch. Supports quarter, dotted eighth, and triplet beat divisions. Hold (a.k.a., “Freeze”) Function–Hold down the Tempo switch for infinite repeats. Universal Bypass—Select buffered, relay-based true bypass. Complete Functionality–Access deep editing with the Neuro Mobile App.
