Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup: This plywood is ready for cutting and shaping using standard woodworking tools. Ensure you use sharp blades for clean cuts and minimize tear-out on the veneered face. When fastening, use appropriate screws or nails, ensuring they are suitable for wood panel products. Pre-drilling pilot holes can prevent splitting, especially near edges.
Compatibility: The Arranwood Hardwood Faced Plywood is compatible with most standard wood glues, paints, varnishes, and sealants. For any application that may involve exposure to moisture, even if considered 'interior', it is highly recommended to seal all surfaces and, crucially, all cut edges with a suitable wood treatment or sealant. This step is essential for maximizing the panel's lifespan and preventing potential moisture ingress.
Care: For routine cleaning, a slightly damp cloth is usually sufficient. Avoid excessive water or harsh cleaning chemicals. If the plywood is finished with paint or varnish, follow the care instructions for those specific finishes. Regularly inspect finished projects for any signs of wear or damage, and reapply protective treatments as needed, especially if the product is subject to higher humidity or occasional splashes.
