Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: As an automatic watch, the Tissot T-My Lady is powered by the movement of your wrist. If the watch has stopped, you may need to wind it manually. Gently turn the crown clockwise (usually 30-40 turns) until you feel resistance. Do not force it. Once running, wearing the watch for at least 8 hours a day should keep it sufficiently wound.
Compatibility: This watch is designed as a standalone timepiece. Its primary compatibility is with your personal style and wardrobe, transitioning seamlessly from casual to formal attire.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Avoid Magnets: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields to preserve the accuracy of the automatic movement, especially given the Nivachron™ hairspring's enhanced resistance.
- Winding: If the watch is not worn daily, wind it manually every two days to ensure optimal performance.
- Water Resistance: While rated for 50 meters, it's advisable to have the water resistance checked periodically, especially after any impacts or if the crown has been left open. Avoid exposing the watch to high-velocity water (e.g., from a tap or shower head).
