Setup
- Unfolding the Piano: Carefully unfold the piano, ensuring the keys are aligned properly.
- Powering On: Press the power button to turn the piano on. Ensure it is charged before first use.
- Connecting Headphones/Amplifier: Plug your headphones into the 3.5mm jack or connect to an amplifier using an appropriate cable.
- Connecting to a Computer (MIDI): Connect the piano to your computer using the USB cable. Your computer should recognize it as a MIDI device. Open your preferred DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and configure the MIDI input.
Compatibility
The Carry-On 49 Key Folding Piano is compatible with most devices, including:
- Laptops and Desktop Computers: Requires a USB port for MIDI connectivity.
- DAWs: Compatible with popular music production software such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, GarageBand, etc.
- Headphones: Standard 3.5mm headphones.
- Amplifiers: Compatible with amplifiers that accept a 3.5mm input.
Care
- Cleaning: Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the keys and surface of the piano. Avoid using excessive moisture.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the piano and store it in a safe place. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery: Charge the piano regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
- Sustain Pedal: Handle the sustain pedal with care to prevent damage.
