FAQs

What is the maximum current this cable can handle?

The cable has a 13A fuse, so it can handle a maximum current of 13 Amperes.

What type of devices can I connect to this cable?

You can connect devices that have a C14 inlet, such as PCs, monitors, printers, and other electronics with compatible power connectors.

What is the length of the cable?

The total cable length is 2 meters, with 1.5 meters to the split and 0.5 meters to the IEC C13 Connections.

Is this cable suitable for use outside the UK?

No, this cable is designed for use in the United Kingdom due to its UK plug.

What should I do if the fuse blows?

Unplug the cable from the wall and the devices. Replace the fuse with a new 13A fuse. If the fuse blows again, there may be a problem with one of the connected devices, and you should stop using the cable.

Can I use this cable with high-power devices?

It depends on the power draw of the devices. Ensure that the combined power consumption of all devices connected to the cable does not exceed 13A.

How do I care for the cable?

Regularly inspect the cable for any damage. Avoid sharp bends, do not overload it, and unplug it when not in use.

Is the cable grounded?

Yes, the UK plug is grounded for safety.

Troubleshooting

Devices not powering on

Check the wall outlet, ensure the cable is securely connected to both the devices and the outlet, and verify that the devices are switched on. Check the fuse.

One device not working

Check the power connection of the specific device, and ensure the device is switched on. Try swapping the devices to see if the issue persists.

Fuse keeps blowing

Reduce the number of devices connected or replace the fuse with a new 13A fuse. Check the power consumption of all connected devices to ensure it's within the 13A limit.
