Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, strip approximately 1/4 inch of insulation from your wire, insert the wire into the rear of the connector, and use a dedicated terminal crimping tool to secure the wings over the copper conductor. Ensure the crimp is tight enough to resist a firm pull test. These connectors are compatible with standard female blade receptacles found in most automotive fuse blocks and aftermarket harness kits. To ensure longevity, keep the connection area clean and free of moisture. If the connection will be exposed to the elements or high humidity, it is recommended to apply a small amount of dielectric grease or cover the connection with heat-shrink tubing to prevent oxidation.
