Gold Horizons Spa pH Plus is a granular alkali used for raising the pH if it falls below 7.2. This product is ideal for maintaining your spa water within the ideal pH range of 7.2 – 7.6. To use, pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 10g of product per 0.2 gallons (1ltr) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure the product is fully dissolved. Carefully add the resulting solution to the spa whilst the pump(s) are turned "on". After a minimum of 30 minutes, recheck the pH level and if necessary, repeat the treatment until the ideal pH is established. For example, for 1,000 litres (220 gallons) use 11g, and for 1,500 litres (330 gallons) use 17g. Please note that a number of treatments may be required.
