The Hope Tech 4 V4 builds on over 25 years of experience in designing and manufacturing hydraulic brake systems. This brake features an all-new internal sealing for reduced friction and utilizes roller bearings for smooth pivot action, allowing for a reduced spring rate. This results in a lighter lever action, minimizing rider fatigue while maintaining Hope's signature feel and modulation. The updated V4 caliper uses hybrid stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert for smoother operation and less maintenance, even under high temperatures. Key features include increased power over the Tech 3, an ergonomically updated lever shape for optimal mechanical advantage during braking, and a hinged clamp for reduced weight and improved ergonomics.
