This mains-powered carbon monoxide alarm from Hispec is designed for safety and ease of use. It features a 9V back-up battery, preventing tenant access to the sealed-in, rechargeable lithium cells. The alarm connects quickly with a snap-on harness and locks into place. Its neat circular design allows for both ceiling and wall mounting. The unit utilizes an electrochemical sensor that samples air every 15 seconds, offering enhanced safety compared to those sampling every 60 seconds. It includes a memory recall feature to check for past CO incidents. The alarm is tamper-resistant, has LEDs for interlink and power status, and can transmit up to 30m indoors. It also features power, alarm, and fault indicators, along with a test and hush button. The unit can be powered from a nearby light fitting and is CE tested and certified. It is made of plastic and comes in white.
