Setup, Compatibility & Care
This filament is compatible with most standard FDM printers that utilize 1.75mm diameter materials. For best results, set your nozzle temperature between 190°C and 210°C, and ensure your print bed is leveled correctly. Always use a clean print surface to prevent adhesion issues. To maintain the quality of the filament, store the spool in an airtight container or a vacuum-sealed bag with desiccant packets when not in use. PLA is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air over time, which can lead to popping sounds during printing or a decline in surface quality. If the material becomes brittle or shows signs of moisture, drying it in a filament dryer at 45°C for 4 to 6 hours is recommended.
