Peelaway Scraper - Green

The Peelaway Scraper is primarily designed for removing excess, softened paint residue after applying the Peelaway Paint Removal System. It can also be used for general scraping tasks.

It is most effective at removing softened paint, particularly when used with the Peelaway system. For very hard, old, or multiple layers of paint, pre-treatment or alternative methods might be necessary.

After use, clean the blade with a damp cloth, dry it thoroughly, and store it in a dry place. You can sharpen the blade if it becomes dull using an appropriate sharpening tool.

While it can be used on various surfaces, it's recommended to test on an inconspicuous area first, especially on delicate materials, to avoid damage. Its primary use is on surfaces where paint removal is intended.

The ergonomic handle is shaped to fit comfortably in the hand, providing a secure grip and reducing pressure points for enhanced comfort and control during use.

After applying the Peelaway paste and covering it with the Peelaway paper, the system softens and lifts the paint. The scraper is then used to efficiently remove the softened paint and paste from the surface.

Ensure the paint has been properly softened by the Peelaway system or another appropriate method. Check if the blade is clean and free of obstructions. Try adjusting the angle of the scraper for better contact.

Ensure your hands are dry. The ergonomic design should provide a secure grip, but if slipping persists, consider wearing work gloves for added traction.

For very tight corners or intricate areas, consider using a smaller scraper or detailing tool in conjunction with the Peelaway scraper for complete coverage.

Excessive force or scraping against abrasive surfaces can dull the blade faster. For best results, allow the Peelaway system to do the initial softening and use the scraper to remove loosened paint. Sharpen the blade periodically as needed.
