The B&Q Portable Barrel BBQ is designed for outdoor enthusiasts, campers, and casual backyard grillers who need a high-capacity cooking solution that folds down for easy portability. Its primary benefit is the dual-surface design that effectively doubles your cooking area, making it ideal for hosting small group gatherings or family picnics. The main caveat is that because it is a portable unit with a foldable structure, it lacks the permanent stability of heavy-duty, fixed patio grills, so it must be placed on a level, fire-safe surface to ensure steady operation.

Yes, you can use wood chips for added flavor, but ensure they are intended for charcoal grilling and placed directly in the charcoal area.
Wait until the ash is completely cold, then remove the ash tray or scoop it out into a metal container for proper disposal.
While it is designed for outdoor use, it is not weather-proof. We recommend storing it in a garage or shed when not in use to prevent rust.
This model is designed to be used in its fully opened, flat configuration for optimal cooking results.
Use a grill-safe wire brush while the grates are still slightly warm to make it easier to scrape off charred food.
Ensure the surface underneath is completely level. If the BBQ is on uneven ground, use flat stones or a wooden board to stabilize the feet.
Check that the locking catch is completely disengaged and that no debris is stuck in the hinge mechanism.
Check that the charcoal is distributed evenly and ensure the side vents are not blocked by ash or debris.
To set up the BBQ, place the unit on a flat, non-flammable surface. Open the locking catch and hinge the two halves until they rest flat. Ensure the charcoal trays are clear of debris before igniting your fuel.
