Product Information
Full details
The NGT Groundbait Bowl is an essential accessory for coarse anglers seeking a portable and efficient solution for bait preparation. Designed for those who value space-saving gear, its primary benefit is a collapsible structure that transitions easily from a compact travel size to a sturdy, full-capacity mixing bowl. While it is perfect for most groundbait applications, users should note that the PVC material requires thorough cleaning after use to prevent lingering odors or residue buildup in the folds.

FAQs
What are the dimensions when collapsed?
While the specific folded height varies, it collapses significantly to approximately 2-3cm, making it nearly flat for storage.
Is this bowl dishwasher safe?
No, it is intended for hand washing only to protect the integrity of the PVC material and the seams.
Can I use it to hold liquid additives?
Yes, the PVC material is water-resistant and suitable for mixing liquid additives with groundbait.
Will the green color fade in the sun?
Like most plastics, long-term exposure to direct UV light may cause minor fading, but it will not affect the structural performance of the bowl.
Is the bowl heavy to carry?
No, the bowl is lightweight and constructed from flexible materials, making it a very low-weight addition to your fishing kit.
Troubleshooting
Bowl walls collapsing while in use
Ensure the base is placed on a completely flat, level surface and that the bait mixture is not excessively thick or heavy at the very edges.
Persistent smell inside the bowl
Wash the interior with a mixture of warm water and a small amount of non-scented dish soap, then air dry thoroughly in direct sunlight.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Highly compact and space-efficient when collapsed
- Durable PVC material is easy to wipe clean
- Generous 30cm diameter allows for mess-free mixing
- Reinforced carry handles for reliable transport
Cons
- Folding mechanism requires cleaning to prevent debris buildup
- PVC material is not suitable for sharp tools
- Does not include a lid
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the bowl is simple: pull the rim upward to expand the collapsible walls until the unit is fully extended. It is compatible with all standard groundbait mixes, pellets, and particles used in coarse fishing. For long-term care, ensure the bowl is completely dry before storing it in a closed tackle box to prevent mold or odors. Avoid exposing the PVC to sharp edges like scissors or unhooking tools to prevent punctures. If the bowl becomes stained, a mild detergent and a soft sponge will effectively restore the material.
