While effective, the 25-litre size is substantial. Bostik also offers a 5-litre version which may be more appropriate for smaller DIY tasks.

The retarder extends the setting time of the cement mix, giving you more time to apply it over larger areas or in challenging conditions without it hardening too quickly, thereby improving efficiency and finish.

The product is orange in colour.

Store in its original, tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost. Ensure the lid is securely closed after use.

Ensure the correct dosage of Freeflo was added to the mixing water. Try adding a small amount of additional water, ensuring not to exceed the maximum recommended water content for the cement mix.

Verify that the Freeflo is being used as a retarder and that the dosage is appropriate. Higher temperatures can accelerate setting; the retarder's effect may be reduced in very hot conditions. Ensure consistent mixing.

Allow the cement-based application to cure fully as per manufacturer instructions. The waterproofer works by reducing absorption into the material, not by creating a surface film. Ensure proper application thickness and coverage.
