FAQs

Can I buy this helmet online without a fitting?

No, the LeMieux Verv Competition Helmet requires an in-store fitting by a trained professional and cannot be purchased online without this service. This ensures optimal safety and fit.

What safety standards does the Verv helmet meet?

The helmet is designed to meet EN 1384 and ASTM F1163 international safety standards.

How do I clean the helmet?

Wipe the helmet shell with a soft, damp cloth. The removable padding and headband can be hand-washed in cool water with mild detergent and air-dried.

What accessories are available for the Verv helmet?

The helmet comes with three magnetic peaks (wide, narrow, brim). Additional customisable magnetic ventilation panels are available to purchase separately.

Is the fit system adjustable?

Yes, the helmet features a 360° wrap fit system with a rear adjustment wheel and a quick-release mechanism for secure and precise fitting.

What is the warranty period for this helmet?

Please contact the retailer or LeMieux directly for specific warranty information, as this detail is not provided in the product description.

Can I wear a balaclava or thin hat under the helmet?

While the helmet is designed for a snug fit, the compatibility with under-helmets can vary. It is best to try this with a fitted helmet during your in-store fitting session.

Troubleshooting

Helmet feels too tight or has pressure points.

This indicates an incorrect fit. The helmet requires professional fitting. Return to the store for adjustment by a trained staff member. The 360° Wrap Fit System and rear wheel can be adjusted, but a professional fitting is paramount.

Magnetic peaks or panels are not attaching securely.

Ensure the magnetic surfaces on both the helmet and the accessory are clean and free of debris. Gently align the magnets and press firmly until they click into place. If issues persist, consult store staff.

Ventilation seems inadequate.

Ensure all ventilation ports are clear of obstruction. If you require more airflow, consider purchasing and attaching the customisable magnetic ventilation panels (sold separately).

Padding feels uncomfortable or worn.

The removable padding and headband are designed to be replaced. New padding sets can be purchased separately. Ensure the helmet itself is still providing a secure fit.
