The genuine 3M AP2-C405-SG water filter cartridge is 0.5 micron and is supplied with an AP2 filter head with built-in 1/4" push-fit connections and an integrated bracket. It removes 99.95% of Protozoan cysts, Cryptosporidium and Giardia. It also reduces sediment, chlorine (taste and odour), lead, benzene, dichlorobenzene, toxaphene, and limescale. Bacterial growth and scale inhibitor media are incorporated. The filter has a capacity of 4000 Litres and is only 24cm in height, taking up less room. Filters must be changed at least every 6 months. This filter will replace all of these previous 3M / Cuno / AquaPure filters: AP2-C301, 301S, 401, 401S, 305, 305S, 405, 405S. Filter specifications: Flow rate 1.9 IPM (0.5gpm), Pressure 25-120 PSI, Temperature 40-100°F. The 3M AP2-405-SG cartridge is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53. This listing is for the latest 3M AP2-C405-SG mini filter as 3M have now ceased to manufacture the older style AP2 filter range.
