The built-in GPS antenna receives information about over 60 types of speed cameras, mobile cameras, dedicated lanes for public transport, and other potential hazards, alerting you visually and with a beep before you reach them. The display also shows your current speed and the distance to the nearest traffic restriction. A supercapacitor replaces a standard battery, allowing the Navitel R980 4K to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations and eliminates the chance of losing files due to a sudden power outage. The built-in adjustable shock sensor protects clips made in emergency situations; in the event of sudden manoeuvres or impact, the G-sensor will trigger and save the current file into a secure folder that cannot be overwritten. Thanks to a built-in Wi-Fi module, the R980 4K can be controlled remotely via the Navitel DVR Centre app, allowing you to view videos and images and update settings.
