Based off George Nelson's iconic 1947 Ball Bubble pendant, the Cigar Bubble pendant light looks like a sculpted marble vase floating in the air. Bold yet ethereal, this stunning cigar-shaped light is made from a steel wire frame coated in an innovative, taut plastic that Nelson discovered after experimenting with surplus military materials post World War II. A product of material ingenuity, the Cigar provides an abundant yet diffused light free from glare. Finished with a brushed nickel-plated steel ceiling plate and discreet cord, the pendant can be hung as a contemporary centrepiece or paired with another Bubble pendant for a striking sculptural lighting display. A must-have for any contemporary home, the Cigar Bubble pendant light comes in three generous sizes to suit any interior space. Designed by George Nelson and manufactured by HAY, this pendant is part of the Nelson Bubble Lamp series.
