Deta Grid Switch - 20 Amp Double Pole - Black

The Deta G3553BK switch has a rating of 20 amps.

This switch is specifically designed and marked for 'EXTRACTOR FAN' use and is rated for 20 amps. It is intended for use with ventilation extractor fans.

Double pole switching means that the switch disconnects both the live and neutral wires of the circuit simultaneously, providing a more complete isolation from the power supply compared to a single pole switch.

This switch requires installation within a Deta branded grid switch assembly, which uses a specific mounting frame. It is not designed for standard UK back boxes without the Deta grid system.

The switch has a black finish.

Installation requires a qualified electrician familiar with Deta grid switch systems and standard electrical wiring practices. It involves integrating the switch module into the Deta grid frame.

Verify that the main power supply to the circuit is on. Ensure the extractor fan is correctly wired to the switch and that the Deta grid assembly is properly installed. Check the fuse or circuit breaker for the relevant circuit.

This could indicate a wiring fault. Please consult a qualified electrician to check the double pole wiring and ensure the switch mechanism is functioning correctly.

The switch may not be securely clipped into the Deta grid mounting frame. Ensure it is properly seated and secured according to the grid system's instructions. If issues persist, consult a qualified electrician.
