Makita LXT Line Trimmer - DUR193Z

The DUR193Z uses Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries. These are sold separately.

Refer to the instructions on the spool assembly for loading the trimmer line. Generally, you will open the head, thread the line, and secure it.

The cutting height is determined by the length of the nylon line. You can adjust the line length using the bump and feed function.

Use a damp cloth to clean the trimmer head and shaft after each use. Remove any debris or grass clippings.

The cutting width is 26 cm.

Stop the trimmer and advance more line using the bump feed or replace the spool with fresh line if necessary.

Replacement trimmer line is available at most hardware stores or online retailers that sell Makita products.

Check that the battery is properly inserted and charged. Ensure the on/off switch is engaged correctly.

Check that the line is not tangled or broken within the spool. Tap the bump feed on a hard surface while the trimmer is running.

Ensure the nylon line is the correct length and that the cutting head is properly aligned. Replace worn line.

Check the type of grass being cut and adjust the cutting speed as needed. Consider using a higher-capacity battery.
