TP-Link's Omada smart switches offer a significant upgrade. The SG2005P-PD is a five-port PoE-powered switch designed for simplified outdoor network deployment. It can be managed by an Omada SDN Controller, providing professional and reliable one-step solutions. Integrated L2 and L2+ features such as 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping, and static routing offer cost-effective networking solutions for small and medium-sized businesses without compromising usability and performance. Specifically designed for outdoor use, its IP55-rated weatherproof enclosure, wide operating temperature range, and 4KV lightning protection ensure stable operation even in harsh environments. This switch features 1x Gigabit PoE++ in port and 4x Gigabit PoE+ out ports. It supports up to 64 W / 44 W / 19 W / 6 W PoE budget output when powered by 802.3bt Type 4 (90 W), 802.3bt Type 3 (60 W), 802.3at, and 802.3af PoE, respectively. The PoE-PD switch automatically detects the required PoE power for your devices and protects non-PoE equipment. Value-added features include static routing, Access Control List (ACL), QoS for lag-free experiences, and VLAN for security and flexible management. The Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network devices like access points, switches, and gateways, offering 100% centralized cloud management for a highly scalable network controlled from a single interface. Eliminate mains access limitations by transmitting data and power through a single cable, simplifying installation and reducing deployment costs. This PoE Passthrough capability extends the PoE source-to-device connection distance from 100 m (328 ft) to 200 m (656 ft), ideal for long-range surveillance cameras and access points.
