Full details

The SIP Bench Morticer with Cabinet is a versatile machine that can easily cut square or rectangular holes in timber, providing robust morticing performance. It also doubles as a floor-standing pillar drill. It features a heavy-duty clamp to keep workpieces secure, even in demanding tasks. The morticer has a chisel capacity of 6mm (1/4") to 26mm (1") and a maximum chisel stroke of 210mm. The spindle speed is 1,400 rpm and the chuck capacity is 16mm. The machine includes a 16mm drill chuck, a lockable cabinet stand, a sliding table with work clamps, and an NVR switch. The cabinet provides a comfortable work height, and the solid cast iron work table has vertical and sideways stops, along with a rise and fall handle. The head moves smoothly on a rack and dovetail column with adjustable gib strips for accuracy and smoothness. The work table measures 400mm x 150mm and is built from heavy-duty cast iron for durability. It has a 230V (13A) input supply and a 750W (1hp) motor. Technical specifications include a maximum spindle to fence of 140mm and a maximum drilling capacity of 70mm. The net weight is 73.00 Kg. It also comes with SIP's 2-Year Standard Silver Warranty.
