Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: No complex setup is required. Ensure the clamp meter is turned on and the correct function (AC Current, AC Voltage, Resistance) is selected using the dial. For current measurements, open the clamp jaws and place them around a single conductor. For voltage and resistance measurements, use the appropriate test leads (typically sold separately or included, confirm package contents).
Compatibility: This clamp meter is designed for general electrical measurements. It is compatible with AC circuits within its specified voltage and current limits. It is not intended for DC measurements unless specified by a model variant.
Care: Keep the clamp meter clean and dry. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For the clamp jaws, ensure they are free from dirt or debris to maintain accurate readings. Store the meter in its carrying bag when not in use to protect it from dust and physical damage. Avoid exposing the meter to extreme temperatures or humidity.
