It will function, but performance will be limited by shorter days and less direct sunlight. Expect shorter run times.
Yes, you can lightly rinse the foliage with a garden hose or wipe it down with a damp cloth if it becomes dusty.
The unit is designed for outdoor use and is weather-resistant, meaning it can handle typical garden rain.
With a full day of direct sun, the LEDs are designed to illuminate through the evening hours, though duration varies by season.
The solar unit is integrated; for safety and performance reasons, we recommend using the product as-is rather than modifying the internal components.
Ensure the solar panel is turned to the ON position and verify it is not placed in the shade of a wall or tree during the day.
The solar battery likely did not receive enough sunlight during the day. Reposition the unit to a location with more direct exposure.
Clean the solar panel surface with a clean, damp cloth to remove any grime or salt buildup that may be obscuring the light sensor.
Setup is straightforward: simply find a location that receives ample sunlight, hang the wreath securely, and ensure the power switch on the solar unit is set to 'On.' To maintain the product, occasionally wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or debris, which ensures maximum light absorption. During winter months or extended periods of inclement weather, it is advisable to bring the unit indoors to protect the longevity of the solar battery and the foliage.
