Setting Up Your Watch
- Winding: If your watch has stopped, manually wind it by turning the crown clockwise 20-30 times. The watch will then begin to run automatically.
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to the furthest position. Turn the crown to set the correct time. Push the crown back in to its original position.
- Setting the Date (if applicable): Pull the crown out one position. Rotate the crown to set the date. Push the crown back in.
Compatibility
The Rado Captain Cook watch is compatible with any standard watch strap with the same lug width, thanks to the Easy Clip system.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the watch case and bracelet. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Water Resistance: Ensure the crown is fully screwed in before exposure to water. Have the water resistance checked periodically by a professional, especially if the watch is frequently used in water.
- Servicing: Have your watch serviced by a qualified watchmaker every 5-7 years to maintain its accuracy and longevity.
- Storage: Store your watch in a safe place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight, when not in use.
