The Primaflow PrimaPlus Endfeed Reduced Coupling is designed for professional plumbers and DIY enthusiasts working on water or gas distribution systems who require a secure, long-lasting connection between 15mm and 12mm copper pipes. These high-quality copper fittings are fully WRAS approved and kite-marked to British standards, ensuring safety and reliability in critical infrastructure; however, users must be skilled in soldering techniques as these are endfeed fittings that require heat and capillary action to create a permanent, leak-proof seal.

Yes, these fittings are suitable for use in gas systems, provided the installation adheres to local building regulations and safety standards.
No, this is an endfeed fitting designed specifically for copper pipework. It cannot be used with PEX or other plastic piping.
The fitting is manufactured to EN 1254 standards and is designed to withstand standard domestic water and gas pressures.
Yes, always use lead-free solder when working on water systems to comply with current health and safety regulations regarding drinking water.
Yes, once the joint has been cleaned of excess flux residue, the copper fitting can be painted to match your decor.
Ensure the pipe is sufficiently heated and the flux is not burnt. If the fitting is too cool, the solder will not draw in.
The joint likely has an air gap or was not properly cleaned. Allow the pipe to drain, clean the area, and re-heat or re-solder the joint.
Check for burrs on the pipe edge or ovality. Ensure the pipe size matches exactly 15mm or 12mm; otherwise, the fitting will not seat correctly.
To install this coupling, you will need a pipe cutter, a deburring tool, high-quality plumbing flux, lead-free solder, and a butane or propane blowtorch. First, ensure the 15mm and 12mm copper pipes are cut cleanly and square. Deburr the inside and outside of the pipe ends to ensure they seat fully into the coupling. Apply a thin, even layer of flux to both the pipe end and the interior of the fitting. Slide the fitting into place, heat the joint uniformly, and introduce the solder wire to the edge of the fitting. The solder will be drawn into the joint. Allow the connection to cool naturally; do not quench with cold water to avoid inducing stress in the copper. These fittings are intended for copper-to-copper connections only and are not compatible with PEX or PVC piping systems.
