The Fox Racing Ranger MTB Pants are designed for mountain bikers who require a blend of performance, durability, and casual style. These pants are ideal for trail riders seeking a slim, non-restrictive fit that minimizes snagging during technical descents, though the tapered design may feel slightly snug for riders who prefer a looser, baggier aesthetic.

They feature a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, which sheds water and mud, but they are not fully waterproof against heavy rain.
Low-profile, slim-fit knee pads will generally fit well, but bulky or downhill-specific pads may feel restricted due to the tapered leg.
Yes, the Ranger MTB pants are designed with a style that transitions easily from trail performance to off-bike relaxation.
These pants are primarily constructed from durable, lightweight polyester with stretch properties.
Machine wash cold with mild detergent and air dry to maintain fabric performance and the DWR coating.
Clean the ratchet teeth of any trapped mud or debris with a soft brush.
Reactivate the DWR finish by tumble drying on a low heat setting for 10-20 minutes or consider applying a DWR spray treatment.
To ensure the best fit, utilize the integrated race-ratchet system to dial in your waist tension before your first ride. The pants are generally true to size but consider trying them on with your specific base layers or knee protection to ensure the tapered leg does not bind.
For care, wash in cold water using a mild detergent to preserve the integrity of the synthetic fibers. Air drying is highly recommended to maintain the efficacy of the DWR finish; avoid using fabric softeners, as they can degrade the moisture-wicking and water-repellent performance of the material.
