Setup
- Preparation: Ensure the shower tray has a 50mm waste hole. Gather necessary tools, including a pipe cutter, sealant, and a screwdriver.
- Installation: Connect the trap to the shower waste outlet and the drainage pipe, using the supplied bend and coupling nut. Ensure all connections are secure and watertight.
- Testing: After installation, run water through the shower to check for leaks. Inspect the connections and tighten if necessary.
Compatibility
The STW2-R is compatible with shower trays with a 50mm waste hole. It is also designed to work with various waste pipe sizes and types due to its Multifit outlet. Compatible materials include plastic, chrome-plated plastic and chrome-plated brass.
Care
- Cleaning: Remove the grid and clean it regularly to prevent debris buildup. Rinse the trap with water to remove any remaining deposits.
- Inspection: Periodically check for leaks or damage. Replace the trap if necessary.
- Maintenance: Ensure that harsh chemicals are not used as they can cause damage to the material.
