Full details
Professional brake pad spreader for commercial or occasional use. This tool separates pistons in brake callipers quickly, ready to install new brake pads. It pushes the piston back squarely without damage to the piston face, making it an essential tool for retracting the brake piston to allow fitment of new brake pads. Suitable for use on most cars, it can be used on either single piston sliding callipers or twin opposing piston callipers. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel for strength and durability, it can be operated in 3 different ways: by the T-bar supplied, a 1/2" drive ratchet, or a 21mm spanner. The maximum capacity is from 0mm to 65mm, and the design ensures the pistons are retracted as well as released squarely to avoid damage.
