The set is compatible with most common hammer types. However, very specialized or antique hammers may require custom solutions.

What tools do I need to install the wedges?

You will need the hammer, the wedges, and possibly a small hammer or mallet to drive the wedges in.

How long will the wedges last?

The lifespan of the wedges depends on usage. Inspect regularly and replace them if they become loose or damaged.

Where can I store the wedges?

Store the wedges in a dry, safe place away from moisture and extreme temperatures.

The set provides multiple wedges, so you can replace a lost one with a new one from the set.

Troubleshooting

Hammer handle is loose after wedge installation.

Ensure the wedge is the correct size for the handle and hammer head. Re-drive the wedge more firmly, or replace it with a new one.

Wedge is difficult to insert.

Use a smaller wedge from the set, or slightly trim the handle for a better fit. Make sure the handle is properly aligned before inserting the wedge.
