Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the machine, identify a stable, flat surface where you can safely anchor the base. Ensure the crank handle is securely attached and moves freely before inserting any meat.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Disassemble the unit according to the provided instructions to expose the blade shafts.
- Hand wash components in warm, soapy water; avoid abrasive scrubbers that may dull the blades.
- Dry components immediately and completely to prevent oxidation, even though stainless steel is used.
- Lightly coat the gears with a food-grade lubricant if the crank movement feels sluggish over time.
Never put the components in a commercial dishwasher, as the heat and harsh chemicals may damage the precision gear alignment.
