FAQs
What is the circumference range for the medium size?
The medium size collar is adjustable and fits a neck circumference of 30-50cm.
Is this collar suitable for puppies?
While adjustable, it's best suited for medium-sized adult dogs. Ensure a proper fit for any dog, especially puppies, to prevent chewing or escape.
How do I clean the collar?
You can hand wash the collar with mild soap and cool water. Rinse well and allow it to air dry completely away from heat.
Will the reflective feature work in complete darkness?
The reflective feature works by bouncing back light from external sources (like car headlights or streetlights). It will not glow on its own in complete darkness but significantly enhances visibility when light is present.
Can this collar be used for strong pullers?
The collar has a solid D-ring for lead attachment, but for very strong pullers, a harness might offer better control and comfort distribution. Always supervise your dog during walks.
What is the material of the collar?
The collar is made from a hardwearing nylon base with a plastic snap buckle fastening.
Troubleshooting
Collar is too loose or too tight
Adjust the collar using the slider to achieve the correct fit. Ensure two fingers can comfortably slide between the collar and your dog's neck.
Buckle difficult to fasten
Ensure the two ends of the buckle are aligned correctly and apply firm, even pressure.
Reflective strip not visible
Clean the reflective strip with a damp cloth. Ensure the collar is positioned correctly on the dog's neck. Note that reflective properties may diminish with prolonged use.
