MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation - NW58

MAC uses a unique shade naming system: 'NC' for Neutral Cool (golden/olive undertones) and 'NW' for Neutral Warm (pink/rosy undertones). 'NW58' indicates a deeper shade with warm undertones. It's always best to swatch shades directly on your jawline and check in natural light to find your perfect match.

Yes, but with proper skin preparation. Ensure your skin is well-hydrated and moisturized before applying. Using a hydrating primer can also help prevent the product from looking dry or emphasizing texture.

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is generally considered non-acnegenic and non-comedogenic, meaning it's formulated not to clog pores or contribute to breakouts.

While it's primarily designed for dry application, some users find a *slightly* damp sponge helps press the product more seamlessly into the skin for a natural finish. Avoid making the sponge too wet, as this can alter the product's texture.

For hygienic reasons and optimal performance, it's recommended to wash the included sponge applicator after every 1-3 uses. Allow it to air dry completely.

Info needed: [SPF information]. Please check the product packaging for specific SPF claims, as not all formulations include sun protection.

Apply less product. Use a fluffy brush for lighter coverage, or a damp (but not wet) sponge for pressing product into the skin rather than swiping.

Ensure your skin is thoroughly moisturized and exfoliated before application. Consider using a hydrating primer underneath.

Use a long-wearing primer before application. You may also set your finished look with a setting spray to prolong wear.

Always test shades on your jawline or neck in natural daylight to ensure the most accurate match to your skin tone.

Store the compact in a cool, dry place. Avoid dropping the compact as this can cause the pressed powder to shatter.
