FAQs
Is the entire system dishwasher safe?
No, we recommend cleaning the tray and tubs by hand with a damp cloth to preserve the waterproof material.
Can I buy the internal tubs separately?
The Nytro StarkX EVA System is sold as a complete set including the base and internal tubs.
Is the material completely airtight?
The system is designed to be waterproof, protecting against rain and splashes, but it is not intended for long-term vacuum-sealed storage.
Will the clear lid fog up in cold weather?
Like most plastic materials, some minor condensation may occur, but the transparent design remains effective for identifying contents.
How many tubs are included in this specific model?
This 4+1 model includes one base tray and four individual internal tubs.
Troubleshooting
Lid is difficult to see through due to surface scratches.
Gently clean with a microfiber cloth and a mild soap solution; avoid abrasive sponges.
Tubs feel loose in the tray.
Ensure the tubs are pushed fully to the corners of the base unit to utilize the molded fit.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Modular system allows for quick organization of different bait types.
- Waterproof material effectively protects contents from rain and splashes.
- Clear lid design saves time by allowing you to see what is inside at a glance.
- Robust build quality suitable for frequent outdoor use.
- Compact dimensions maximize space inside your existing fishing luggage.
Cons
- Not suitable for large, bulky fishing tools or long items.
- The 8cm depth may be restrictive for some specific bait tubs.
- Clear plastic lid requires careful handling to prevent scratching over time.
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To get the most out of your Nytro StarkX EVA System, ensure the tubs are seated firmly within the base tray before transport. The system is designed to be highly compatible with most standard fishing carryalls and is a perfect companion to the Nytro StarkX EVA 3+1 system for those needing additional capacity.
For care, wipe the EVA material down with a damp cloth after each session to remove bait residue or mud. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the waterproof seal or the clarity of the plastic lid. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for extended periods to maintain the integrity of the EVA material.
