Formulated for use from birth and during the first years of life. The Lactobacillus and bifidus for formula fed babies has been developed specifically for formula fed new born babies up to 12 months of age. It contains the Lab4b group of four types of friendly bacteria, which naturally form part of the microflora population of infants. It is now recognised that friendly bacteria are just as important to infants and toddlers as to adults and establishment of a robust population of friendly microflora as soon after birth as possible is critical in driving the development of a healthy immune and digestive system. However, it is acknowledged that modern living conditions, particularly for the new born baby, may inhibit or slow down the natural development of the normal flora. The Lab4b friendly bacteria were used in the Swansea Baby Study of over 400 babies carried out over 5 years. Suitable for Vegetarian and Kosher diets. Recommended Daily Intake: As a food supplement using the scoop provided, add one heaped scoop per day (1.1g) to formula milk once it has been made up and allowed to cool. Shake well. Do not add to hot milk.
