Setup, Compatibility & Care
To get the best performance out of your ATEK 10M Cat 8 cable, ensure that both the networking hardware (such as your router, switch, or network interface card) and the destination device support Cat 8 or are backward compatible with high-speed Ethernet. When installing, avoid forcing the cable into sharp 90-degree bends, as this can potentially stress the internal wiring. If routing the cable through high-traffic areas, use cable clips or adhesive channels to prevent it from being stepped on or caught on furniture. Keep the connectors clean and free of dust, and avoid pulling on the wire itself when disconnecting; always grip the plastic housing of the RJ45 connector to prevent strain.
