Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to the furthest position. Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back in completely to start the watch.
- Setting the Date (if applicable): If your model has a date window, pull the crown out to the first click position. Rotate the crown (usually clockwise) to adjust the date. Push the crown back in completely when done.
- Chronograph Reset: If the chronograph hands are not aligned to the '0' position, consult the FAQ section for specific instructions on resetting them.
Compatibility
This watch features a 43.00 mm diameter, which is a substantial size. It is generally compatible with most adult male wrists, but individuals with smaller wrists may find it large. The stainless steel bracelet is adjustable by removing links; this process is best done by a professional jeweler to ensure proper fit.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt, sweat, and moisture. For stubborn grime, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Exposure: While resistant to 10 bar (100 meters), avoid exposing the watch to hot water, steam, or prolonged immersion. Do not operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet.
- Impacts: Though durable, avoid strong impacts or dropping the watch, as this can affect its internal movement or exterior finish.
- Magnetic Fields: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields (e.g., speakers, televisions, refrigerators, mobile phones) as these can affect timekeeping accuracy.
- Storage: When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
