Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin, ensure both units are placed on a dry, level, and heat-resistant surface away from water sources. Before first use, it is recommended to boil the kettle twice and discard the water to ensure the interior is clean.
Care Instructions:
- Exterior: Use a soft, damp cloth with a non-abrasive cleaner to wipe down the gold and chrome surfaces. Avoid steel wool or harsh chemicals to prevent scratching the finish.
- Filter: Periodically remove the kettle's stainless steel limescale filter and rinse it under warm water. If limescale buildup is heavy, soak the filter in a solution of water and white vinegar.
- Crumb Tray: Regularly slide out the toaster's crumb tray at the bottom to discard loose breadcrumbs, which prevents smoke and burnt smells during operation.
