The fruit bowl recreates the appearance of a natural element through modern industrial production processes. Alessi Centrepiece Black Metal. Dimensions: Ø 43 cm x H 10 cm. An industrial object capable of translating nature's beauty. This steel centrepiece was created by Adam Cornish. The work of this young Australian designer is based around the notion of movement, both visual and physical. Trinity is a centrepiece designed from a simple geometric shape which grows, like a whirlwind, until it forms an elegant concentric structure. This sinuous and dynamic spiral is inspired by the shell of the Nautilus mollusc. The creator therefore wants to offer the look of a natural element while using modern industrial manufacturing processes. The shape of Trinity is obtained via a laser perforation process on a fine steel sheet which is then mechanically shaped. Trinity can serve as a centrepiece or a fruit basket.
