This certification indicates that the tape is designed to resist ignition and slow down the spread of flame, enhancing electrical safety.
Each roll contains 20 meters of tape.
While suitable for general repairs, it is best used in dry conditions. Prolonged exposure to elements like moisture and UV may degrade its performance over time.
The tape has a standard width of 19mm.
The tape is available in a wide range of colors, typically used for identification purposes.
This tape is designed for general electrical insulation. For high-voltage applications, consult specific product ratings and safety guidelines.
Yes, for minor repairs on the insulation of a power cord, this tape can provide a temporary and safe fix, provided the wires themselves are not damaged.
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Reapply tape with slight tension.
Use a sharp blade or scissors for clean cuts. Ensure the tape is not excessively old, as it can become brittle.
Gently rub the residue with a clean cloth. For stubborn residue, a mild adhesive remover can be used, testing on an inconspicuous area first.
Setup: Simply unroll the desired length of tape and apply it smoothly to the surface, overlapping each layer by at least half the tape's width for optimal insulation and adhesion. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
Compatibility: This tape is compatible with most common electrical wiring materials, including copper, aluminum, and various insulation types. It is also suitable for use on plastics, rubber, and metal for general repairs.
Care: Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain adhesive quality. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures. Clean application surfaces before use for best results.
