Yes, its matte finish and oil-controlling properties make it an excellent choice for oily and combination skin types. It helps to reduce shine and keep your complexion looking fresh.

The `NC` in `NC12` indicates a neutral-cool undertone, typically suitable for skin with yellow or golden undertones. The '12' refers to the depth. It's crucial to test the shade on your jawline or neck, not just your hand, in natural lighting to ensure it blends seamlessly with your skin tone.

Wash the sponge with a gentle soap or makeup brush cleanser and lukewarm water. Squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry completely on a clean surface before putting it back into the compact to prevent bacterial growth.

Yes, it's designed to be a two-in-one product, offering the coverage of a foundation and the mattifying properties of a powder. For many, it completely replaces the need for separate liquid foundation and setting powder steps.

Look for the 'period after opening' (PAO) symbol on the packaging, which indicates how many months the product is good for after opening (e.g., `24M`). Generally, powder foundations last around 18-24 months, but if you notice changes in texture, smell, or performance, it's best to replace it sooner for hygiene and effectiveness.

Ensure your skin is thoroughly prepped with moisturizer and/or primer before application. Apply product in thin layers, blending thoroughly with a clean sponge or brush, working from the center of the face outwards.

Reduce the amount of product used. Apply with a lighter hand, building coverage gradually. Ensure your skin is hydrated, as dry skin can make powder foundations look heavy. Try a damp sponge for a sheerer application.

Shade matching is critical. `NC` shades typically have yellow/golden undertones. If it looks too yellow or too pink, you may need a different undertone (e.g., `NW` for pink/rosy undertones) or a different shade intensity. Always test shades on your jawline in natural light before purchasing.

Start with a good primer designed for longevity. After application, lightly mist your face with a setting spray to lock the foundation in place. Avoid excessive touching of your face throughout the day.

Increase skin hydration with a richer moisturizer and a hydrating primer. Apply less product to these areas, or consider using a damp sponge for a smoother finish. Exfoliate regularly to remove dry skin cells.
