The hob-proof cooking pot is suitable for use on gas and electric hobs. It is NOT compatible with induction hobs.
Searing meat and vegetables prior to slow cooking helps to caramelize their surfaces, locking in juices and developing richer, deeper flavors that enhance the final dish.
The removable cooking pot and glass lid are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. The main slow cooker base unit should be wiped clean with a damp cloth; never immerse it in water.
