Can I put this in the freezer?
Yes, you can freeze the plate with treats applied to extend the duration of the activity for your dog.
Is this suitable for aggressive chewers?
No, this is an enrichment toy designed for licking only. If your dog attempts to chew the plastic, remove the toy immediately.
What kind of treats work best?
Spreadables such as peanut butter, pumpkin puree, soft wet food, or dog-safe yogurt work best.

No, the rotation is entirely mechanical and powered by the dog's licking motion.
Troubleshooting
The device slides on tile or hardwood floors
Ensure the non-skid rubber base is clean and free of debris, as dust can reduce friction.
Treats are difficult to remove from textures
Soak the plate in warm, soapy water for a few minutes before scrubbing with a soft brush.
The plate is not spinning freely
Check the central pivot point for any trapped food residue or debris and rinse it thoroughly.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the KONG Licks Spinz, simply detach the top plate from the rotating base, spread your dog's favorite paste-like treat into the grooves, and snap it back onto the center post. For care, disassemble the unit after every use. All components are designed to be easily rinsed with warm water and mild dish soap. Ensure the unit is completely dry before reassembling to maintain hygiene. The small variant is designed for smaller dog breeds, so ensure the size is appropriate for your pet's snout size and licking habits.
