Full details
Fort is a card game about building forts and making friends! In Fort, you play as a kid aiming to grow your circle of friends, grab pizza and toys, and construct the best fort. By drafting and playing cards, you'll take actions on your turn, and your cards also allow you to copy other players' actions. It's a deck-building game with a unique theme, where players start with a weak hand and improve it over the game. Fort adds twists by having randomized starting hands and the ability to follow other players' actions. Cards come in six suits plus a wild, each with a public and private action. When played, you perform both actions, and other players can discard a matching suit card to also take the public action. You can also take friends from other players' yards. Collect pizza and toy tokens to upgrade your fort, which grants rewards and improves your score. The game features a great theme, solid design, and interesting mechanics. Games with follow actions reduce downtime, keeping players engaged. Tough decisions arise as you choose whether to follow others or save cards for your own turn. This game is suitable for deck-building fans and a wider audience alike. Player count: 2-4. Time: 20-40 minutes. Age rating: 10+.
