What type of paint should I use?

Use a primer suitable for HDF, followed by interior paint of your choice. Acrylic or latex paints are ideal.

Wipe the panels with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.

Troubleshooting

Panels are not adhering properly.

Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and properly prepared. Double-check the adhesive application and consider using additional adhesive for uneven surfaces.

Gaps are visible between the panels.

Accurately measure and cut the panels. Use a small amount of caulk to fill any minor gaps and create a seamless finish.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free of any loose paint or wallpaper. Fill any holes or imperfections and sand the surface smooth.
Layout: Plan your design using both full and half-length slats. Consider the spacing and arrangement to achieve your desired look.
Adhesive Application: Apply the included adhesive to the back of the slats following the adhesive instructions.
Placement: Carefully position the slats on the wall, using a level to ensure they are straight. Apply even pressure for a secure bond.
Cutting: If necessary, cut the slats to fit using a fine-tooth saw.
Painting: Once the adhesive has dried, prime and paint the panels to your desired color. Use appropriate paint for HDF wood.

This kit is compatible with most interior wall types. To care for the panels, wipe them down with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
